Also, here's a small addition from the forums, about dealing with adds:

The best way to deal with the add phase is to have everyone DPS down the elites that run down the ramp. Anub will not resurface (and the non-elites will not stop spawning) until the elites are dead. So the longer the DPS takes to down the elites, the more healing needs to be done, the quicker your healer goes OOM... etc.

Important things to keep in mind / do:

- Mark the elites. You have a few seconds from when you can see the elites at the top of the ramp and when they actually walk into the ring and become attackable. Use this time to throw up Skulls, X's whatever. It's important to do this so that your DPS can take them down as efficiently as possible. This applies to all elites, but especially the venomancers (or whatever the poison bolt elites are called). The longer the venomancers stay alive the greater the chance you'll wipe. There's a certain point when healers (even the best geared) can't keep up with all the damage being thrown around. Even if you have aggro on the casters they will randomly target party members and poison them. The dot ticks for quite a bit.

- Related to above, your group needs to focus fire and burn the elites. It's up to you as the tank to make sure your PUG DPS knows this, lest they waste time on the non-elites. 2 Melee Elites always spawn after each burrow. During the second and third burrow you'll have to deal with 2 melee and 2+ casters. I know I said this before, but the casters have to die first.

- As a tank you should pick one DPS to keep the non-elites off the healer. If it were not for the spikes/impales this fight would be made a lot easier if people stacked up on you (so you could pickup elites and non-elites easier). As it stands, your job should be to keep the elites busy / interrupted while a good DPS burns down the non-elites.

- Watch for impales. If you can stay out of the impales your healer and his mana pool will have a much easier go of things.

Once the last elite dies, help your group wipe up the non-elites and then prepare to charge/pickup Anub'arak as he resurfaces.

I guess thats heroic mode or something, atleast on normal mode (10 man) he was pretty easy, with just a few things to do.

>Tank anub with one tank

>Use the off tank to tank the mobs he spawns (2x), its tankable, even if they are together
>Tank the 2xmobs on a patch of ice, to prevent them from burrowing beneath the ground. ( if they burrow, they will come back with friends in the next wave.

> Get a ranged dps to focus on killing the flying "ice orbs" /make a macro with the name of it for easier targeting.
>The patches do two things, They prevent the adds from burrowing and they keep you alive in p2

>Anub burrows, and start chasing random members of the group, you can easily run away from him, BUT he will speed up after a while, You will then need to go on a patch if ice. When he hits that patch he will be stunned for a sec before he changes target.

So focus on running away, killing some small non elite adds. finishing off any elite adds you have and dps down more ice patches, and this phase is easy.

You will have 10min to get him down to 30%health, if you don't make it he will enrage..

>Heal like there was no tomorrow ;D. Actually he does a aura debuff called siphon something, which removes 10% of your current health every tick. Important to notice its your current health, NOT your total. So healers focus on keeping the tanks topped off and the raid can be at 50% ish to conserve mana.

(notice healers didn't have any problem keeping everyone topped off last time we tried btw)
